Waitlist privacy notice
Your email, and what we do with it.
Last updated 3 October 2026
What we collect
When you join the Spoontle waitlist we store:
- your email address
- the date and time you ticked the consent box
- where you came from, if the link you clicked said so (for example “tiktok”), otherwise “direct”
That’s it. No name, no tracking cookies, no ad pixels.
Why we collect it
To email you when Spoontle launches. We use the “where you came from” field to see which channels people find us through. We don’t sell your email or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes it
- Supabase stores the waitlist in a database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, the bot check on the sign-up form. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser to tell people from bots; it doesn’t use cookies for advertising.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed after launch, whichever comes first.
Unsubscribe or delete your data
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To be removed from the waitlist completely, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete it.
Your rights (EU and UK)
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you the data we hold about you (access)
- fix it if it’s wrong (rectification)
- delete it (erasure)
- limit or object to how we use it (restriction and objection)
- send it to you in a portable format (portability)
Write to [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
